January is too cold in New York City to guide tours, and there don't seem to be that many tourists around these days. That's normal for this time of year, but this January seems especially tourist-free.

It's to be expected, I suppose, in a time of global economic collapse. Anyway, spring will be a good time to guide tours. Maybe I'll give tours for free, just for fun, and let people buy me lunch or take me dancing or whatever in return. Those are the times we live in.

Of course, if people sign up for the scheduled tours in January and February, I'll gladly guide them, but I'll be surprised if anyone signs up.
