Going home after a trip to New York City must be such a relief. One thing I have noticed is that people from other places seem to have a difficult time adjusting to the speed of things here. Going back to a slower, mellower pace must be really nice after visiting the Big Apple.

For those of us who like to live in high gear, though, there is no better place. The city stimulates so much in us! It is so sensual -- so full of movement, color, smells (not all good), sounds (again, not all good) -- and it all comes at you so fast.
